His Royal Highness Crown Prince Haakon will attend the opening ceremony of the Bygg Reis Deg exhibition at Norway Trade Fair, Lillestrøm. He will be welcomed by County Governor Valgerd Svarstad Hauland, Deputy Mayor Boye Bjerkholt and representatives for the management of Øst politidistrikt and Bygg Reis Deg.
– We are incredibly happy that His Royal Highness Crown Prince Haakon has accepted the invitation to attend Bygg Reis Deg 2017. The construction industry is the largest industry on the mainland and this years conference will highlight increased co-operation, use of digital tools, urbanization and how we all can contribute to a more sustainable enterprise. The Crown Prince will attend a lunch with politicians and industry leaders. He will further be given a tour of the exhibition together with the Chair of the Board for Bygg Reis Deg, Carl Otto Løvenskiold, as well as other representatives from Bygg Reis Deg. Here he will get to see plumbers competing in the national championship, innovative exhibitors and the new activity area called Digital Arena in Hall E. Here, modern practical digital tools and methods are demonstrated.
– That HRH Crown Prince Haakon is curious about the new digital and sustainable solutions in the industry shows that he appreciates the work done in the industry that adds to reaching the UN sustainability goals for the construction industry through the Paris Agreement. We will show him that our industry takes lead both in the digital and the green shift and it means a lot to us that he values our efforts, Nybø concludes.
